Texas Doll
Hello
First, my microphone is NOT "disabled." I've been to the Sound settings and Device Manager, everything is just fine, no pesky exclamations, nada! AND the microphone IS "enabled." It's also plugged into a working plug. The com ports are working, too. No IRQ issues to report.
The other evening my husband and I were talking about how hackers can turn on microphones and video cameras. My exceptional husband showed me another way (besides the standard enable/disable) to turn off the microphone so that it -can't- be turned on by a hacker. It was something in the Windows software settings and pretty much took the mic out of my hardware loop. *sighs*
My adorable husband is now out of town, incommunicado... and I have homework due.
Please help if you can.
If you made it this far,
Thx for listening ;D
