I like Win8.... The Metro Apps are similar to other OSs, with Apps being the primary focus. The only thing, is that if MS is going to radically change the interface for Windows, the new metro apps should at least work
correctly.
The metro weather app is spastic. Originally- when I purchased this PC in December 2012, I was able to list 2-3 cities. Then for some reason, the metro weather app defaulted to the first listed, with a lot of different interesting
info for it. But the 'other cities' option was lost, to view weather for the other cities I listed. Then two weeks later, the 'other cities' option was displayed again.... I listed other cities, and the metro weather app proudly and correctly displayed weather
for different cities as listed.
Now, the metro weather app has reverted to display only the first city, again with no option displayed to navigate to other cities. It's a little bit crazy.
I don't know about the other metro apps, as I don't really use them currently.
Not that I think it's the computer, but this is on a Toshiba S855-S5378.
