ho...

I have found that the issue appear to be related to virtual server and not
to the logon process!

every time I starts a virtual machine the memory of the application drops!

so I'll ask the virtual server newsgroup...

Some people have said there is a special driver you need for this
processor, maybe this is the problem.

Since this occurred after install of additional memory, could it be a faulty
ram stick? Perhaps your ram supplier can supply you with a software test
for it or another piece to swap out. Sounds too basic a solution, i know,
but somtimes the simplest solutions are the correct ones.
