When did you join the Student Ambassadors community?
January 2020.
What was being a Student Ambassador like?
It was terrific! I had an absolute blast being a part of the community. It gave me a stage to boost my technical skills, ace my soft skills, create new connections, and receive many other benefits. The program equipped me with various skills that prepared me for my future in technology. It opened many connections that I will cherish forever. I can confidently say that becoming a Student Ambassador was the best decision I have made so far.

Was there a specific experience you had while you were in the program that had a profound impact on you and why?
Every experience that I’ve had as a Student Ambassador has had a profound impact on me. I got first-hand experience with every offering the program has. I remember attending the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors Summit in India when I joined the program. This gave me the unique opportunity to connect with so many different people, including the program team. Being a Student Ambassador provided me tremendous exposure in working with teams, developing my technical skills, and utilizing my soft skills to make a real impact on everyone out there.

Tell us about a technology you had the chance to gain a skillset in as a Student Ambassador. How has this skill you acquired helped you in your post-university journey?
The technology that has had the most profound impact on me is Microsoft Azure. It helped me as a Student Ambassador and now, in my post-university life, it is helping me build out fun projects, both in my personal projects and those coming to fruition at work.
What is something you want all students, globally, to know about the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador Program?
The MLSA program is an amazing Microsoft community that provides you with the opportunity to build your skillset, nurture your soft skills and make connections that will last a lifetime.
What advice would you give to new Student Ambassadors, who are just starting in the program?
Some advice for new Ambassadors:

Share a favorite quote with us! It can be from a movie, a song, a book, or someone you know personally. Tell us why you chose this. What does it mean for you?
"Don’t ever let someone tell you that you can’t do something. Not even me. You got a dream, you gotta protect it. You want something, go get it. Period.” The quote is from The Pursuit of Happyness. This quote reminds us that we should never give up on our dreams and always believe in ourselves even when others don’t. It’s important to stay focused and work hard to achieve our goals, no matter how difficult it may seem.
Tell us something interesting about you, about your journey.
My journey in the program started in early 2020. In what turned out to be one of the key moments, I attended the MSP India Summit, where I met Pablo Veramendi, the Global Program Director, as well as other inspiring individuals. Shortly after that, I hosted my first offline event at my university which gave me the confidence to keep making an impact. I have taken part in a lot of initiatives offered by the program such as Reactor events, hosting official program meetups at the local Microsoft Office, and serving as a mentor for the Microsoft Imagine Cup and Imagine Cup Junior. I am very grateful to the program for all the ways I have become a better version of myself.

Some advice for new Ambassadors:
- Microsoft Teams is your best friend! Teams is where you will find important program information, your fellow Ambassadors, and more. Be active on Teams to watch out for initiatives that interest you.
- Explore the program documentation on SharePoint so that you know all the program specifics in detail and know what is expected of you.
- Engage with the community as much as you can. The program offers access to a global community that will help you broaden your knowledge and reach a global audience.
- I cannot stress enough how much building connections helps. You can collaborate and skill up together.5. Skill up and help others. Skilling up is an important goal of the program. Learn different technologies with other Ambassadors, build projects, and attend and host workshops, events and learning opportunities.
