When did you join the Student Ambassadors community?
I joined in 2022.
What was being a Student Ambassador like?
I was amazing. It remains one of the best choices I have made as a person. Aside from the quantum growth I have experienced, I have met great people, and I had a lot of fun. I just found myself doing what I love, learning and teaching people.
Was there a specific experience you had while you were in the program that had a profound impact on you and why?
Reminiscing, I cherish the first time I addressed a crowd of over 300 persons for the first time, in the City of Abuja in Nigeria, in front of the brightest of minds. That event took me from Alpha to Beta.
Tell us about a technology you had the chance to gain a skillset in as a Student Ambassador. How has this skill you acquired helped you in your post-university journey?
My Niche is the Power Platform. Teaching, learning and building solutions using Power Platform has set the pace for my current activities post Uni. My first Job was a Power Platform related role, and I basically did what I was doing since I joined the student ambassadors' program; Teach and build solutions. The second skillset I picked up is public speaking. I have lost count since a year ago of the platforms I have spoken on both home and abroad.
What is something you want all students, globally, to know about the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador Program?
This program can transform you. It will build you up professionally instilling excellent work ethics and approach to work, it will change your mindset as relating to collaboration and soft skills. At the end of your journey, you will be equipped with the mindset potent enough to make real change.
What advice would you give to new Student Ambassadors, who are just starting in the program?
Read the handbook. (Laughs), Obvious right? Read a lot. Be curious. A curious mind will always find opportunities to grow.
Share a favorite quote with us! It can be from a movie, a song, a book, or someone you know personally. Tell us why you chose this. What does it mean for you?
"Wisdom is the principal thing". This quote encapsulates all the values I cherish as a person.
Tell us something interesting about you, about your journey.
I love Football. I support Manchester United. I am also a dog lover.
