Hello
My mediaplayer under Windows Vista Ultimate is allways stuttering at
the end of eyery music title (ca. 90%). It looks like the data buffering is
not working. Is there any solution to this problem?

Please help
regards
Tommy

If you have a Sigma Tel audio adapter, as a workaround until Sigma Tel updates
their drivers, right click on the Speaker icon in the Notification Area of the
Taskbar, select Playback Devices, highlight Speakers and press the Properties
button. On the Enhancements tab, check the "Disable all Enhancement" check box.
Click Apply and OK.

As I'm writing this I'm playing a short playlist in Media Player I
just made comprised totally of MP3 songs. So far on the third song and
no problems for me.

Have you tried adjusting the crossfade? There are many adjustments you
can make from Media Player. Try 2 seconds and see if that changes
anything. I didn't really bother to check, I'm guessing if you add
crossfade the next song will get loaded and fade in instead of there
being a stutter or pause between songs. I'm willing to bet a lot of
people don't even know there's a bunch of tools you can play with like
a graphic equalizer that's build into Media Player.

Of course if you're really into music you'll want a better player and
tools to re edit your music. If interested ask.

Hey,

Thanks a LOT!! - IT WORKED!!

You're very welcome.

Check for updated Sigma Tel drivers and I'll bet you'll be even happier when
they release proper drivers!
