I am looking for a media software program (roxio etc) that WORKS WELL with
Vista for my new computer. I was looking at Roxio Creator 9 but even though
it is "Vista approved", I have seen posts that there are problems. I would
appreciate any advice. Thanks

Why not Roxio EMC ver. 10

My new Dell XPS 430 came with Roxio 9 preinstalled, so I'd think that means Dell has some confidence in it. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

Certainly dont go with Rhapsody...I have had so many problems with it on
Vista that NEVER happened on XP

Creator9 works perfectly well on vista.Don`t get 10 as they have done away
with the back-up feature and it`s a waste of money compared to 9.
You will have a slight problem when you run it first as defender blocks the
start up driver.Just click on the link it gives you in problems and solutions
and download the dll patch from roxio.

Nero 8 works well with my PC, also try Power2 Go 6 from Cyberlink, or DVD
Movie Factory 6 Plus from Ulead. I've not had any problems with any of these
on Vista.
