Media Player error

Windows Media Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you
might not have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your proxy
settings might not be correct.

I get this error ... its wont play anything, no videos on my comp and no dvd's

I couldn't get Windows Media Player 11 to play DVDs, so I got the VLC media player, and it plays them ok. It's free, can get here:

http://www.videolan.org/
 
the file's are on my comp so I dont know how I wouldnt have access to them,
they all worked now they dont...IDK how that happns from one min to the next.
too bad I cant just reinstall WMP microsoft
