I have an application that uses WMP 6.4 for video. I do not need to go to
other versions of WMP as I need to support some large clients that still have
NT.

Using VB 6 for the app and I can no longer load the MSDXM.OCX file as a
component, it's also a LOT smaller than previous versions and has a much
later version number.

Can WMP 6.4 run in Windows?

That's not going to work, sorry. The WMP6.4 interface is deprecated. I
believe wmpdxm.ocx is what provides backward compatibility support there -
you might want to try that? Using the creaky old msdxm.ocx on Vista won't
get you very far. =\

Speaking for myself only.
See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
