Vista Media Center has been working correctly on my computer for the last
year. Now the guide used for scheduling recordings does not work and error
code 13 is listed when it tries to update. I have found references online
that the lan or proxy settings are not correct for that error, but I have not
changed them since it last worked.

I also have the time set correctly, and the computer will dual-boot with a
64-bit Vista where the guide also updates correctly so I do not believe my
wireless router to be the problem. Any ideas what I should check for the
error?

Hi, Jeff.

If you don't get the advice you need here, you might want to try the
more-focused Media Center newsgroups (also known as Microsoft Communities or
discussion groups - there are 6 in English plus 8 in other languages), such
as microsoft.public.windows.mediacenter .

Click here and it will take you to that group, using your default
newsreader, rather than the browser interface:
