I have two computers, a laptop and a desktop both running XP Pro,
connected to a router. The laptop is in my company domain; the desktop
is in a home workgoup. I have previoused successfully used map network
drive. Today I can't get the reopened connection to work nor can I
establish anew connection. I have tried various combinations; usually
I get the error message network path not found. Occasionally I am
asked for a login, which fails.
In the past I have been successful using IP address 192.168.0.2 and/or
computer name to identify the server. Today, neither works. I am
reduced to using a memory stick. Suggestions very much appreciated.
