The Vista Laptop I have will not quit asking to install the MRT update. It appears to install fine (marked as successful). When I reboot (it doesn't ask me to but shows that it needs to in the shutdown button) it applies an update, then when logged in
it says it needs to install the same update. It appears that it might be having trouble writing it to the WindowsSystem32 directory. The MRT.EXE that is in there is from 2009 - so multiple updates have never been installed correctly.Mike.
