Welcome back! We wrapped up Season 1 of Make Azure AI Real in December of last year, with developers joining us from all over the globe to build with Azure AI. Since then, there have been significant advancements in the AI space. At Microsoft Build in May, we made several exciting announcements including:

  • Azure AI Studio is generally available: providing developers with a user-friendly platform and code-first experience to build and deploy custom copilots and large and small language model-powered applications.
  • Our new Phi-3-vision model: marking a significant advancement in multimodal AI, this model enables visual reasoning tasks that integrate text and image inputs for improved user interaction.
  • An exciting partnership with Khan Academy and Microsoft: announcing Khanmigo for Teachers, an AI-powered teaching assistant aimed at enhancing educational support for K-12 educators.
The potential of AI is truly exciting! More recently, we partnered with GitHub to empower their more than 100 million developers to build AI applications directly from GitHub by bringing Azure AI’s leading model selection to developers through GitHub Models. Lastly, we introduced o1: OpenAI’s new reasoning model series for developers and enterprises on Azure.

There is no shortage of AI innovation happening at and around Microsoft. To help developers elevate their AI development skills with Azure AI, Make Azure AI Real is back with Season 2. In this season, experts will deep dive into practical use cases to help you accelerate your AI journey. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask LIVE questions for real-time feedback, watch on-demand content, and access technical repositories to continue building safe, secure, and private generative AI applications.

What to Expect
In this hands-on lab series, you will dive deep into the latest innovations and use cases in Azure AI. Hosted by our very own Cloud Advocate, Korey Stegared-Pace. Korey will sit down with AI experts covering different aspects of building generative AI applications with platforms like Azure AI Studio and GitHub, providing attendees with valuable knowledge and practical skills to enhance AI projects.
