Hi all

Have been using M$ Doc Imaging to view and print scanned tif files.
Recently a M$ update switched the default image software to Picture and Fax
Viewer.
Manually switched this back again and all was well.

Today, M$ Doc Imaging will open when a tiff image is double clicked, but if
I select File to open another image the program crashes repeatedly.

Anyone know the reason of a fix for this please?
The only changes made to the PC have been MS Updates.

Software is WinXP SP2 fully patched.

TIA

Phil

Have had the same problem - but on an unpatched WinXP machine - MS Document
Imaging works fine - please let me know of any solutions!!!

Has anyone found a solution for this? Inquiring minds would like to
know. It is driving my users crazy!

You may need to find a way to reinstall "MS Doc Imaging". But you can
also try repairing the associations which might help there too.

Fix File Associations.

If you mean a solution for the crashing of the Doc Imaging program, I seem
to have resolved this!
I did a search for files mspview.exe and launched the program from one of
the retrieved cache locations.
Having run the software from this selected location once, the previous
problem shortcuts seem to be working OK now.
Could be coincidence I suppose and a result of windoze updates?

Glad you got it going.
