Lost path to Desktop

Recently, while backing up, I moved the desktop folder instead of copying it.
Now, I get a "can't find folder" error message everytime I boot because
Windows is looking for the folder on a removable drive. How do I restore the
path to my C: drive?

I would reconnect the removable drive, then copy the folder
back to where it came from.
