Hi,
My plan of attack was to remove whatever drivers I could find in
Add/Remove in WinXP but I only see "Creative System Information". Then
shutting down, pull the power cord and swap the cards. Reboot and
then install the latest drivers from Creative's website
(SBXF_PCDRV_LB_2_09_007.exe) after the system reboots with the new
card in it. I read some where not to use the drivers and programs
from the CD that came with the card (forget where - probably here).
However, what about all the programs that were installed with my
original creative Audigy soundcard? There are a ton of those and they
aren't listed in Add/Remove programs.
Will uninstalling "Creative System Information" uninstall the current
drivers? Is my approach incorrect?
Thanks!
