Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I didn't see one for longhorn beta. I am
looking for an antivirus that would run on this, I noticed forefront didn't
work or is there a trick to getting it running on longhorn.

Dude, I can't even get Live One Care to run on it and that's a Microsoft
product!!! It's rubbish, wait for the release candidate.

On my test machine with W2K8 Avast seems to be running just fine. I had a slight problem installing but the workaround that worked for me was installing it in Safe mode.

The first time I installed it it worked perfectly with sharepoint. The
second time in a clean install it failed with sharepoint, and I can't find
anything on the error code. Otherwise it has been flawless for me except the
Realtek sound driver needs reinstalling each boot up.
