a few days ago when i logged in an error came up and said it couldn't load my
personal settings or something, and it will use a temporary account. it has
happened before but when i restarted it was fixed. this time every time i log
in it logs me into a temporary account, under C:\Documents and
settings\TEMP.GROMMIT (GROMMIT is what we named our hard drive when we first
installed xp media center edition) anyways all of my stuff is still there in
my Documents and Settings folder... it just uses a temporary account instead.
Its annoying i can still do the stuff i want on the internet but i have to
hit run... and browse all the way through C:\Documents and settings to access
things on my account.

anyways in help and support it says:

Delete the SID entries for the source user account from the following
registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

how would i do this? is there a shorter egistry fix i can download or other
solutions? thank you for your time.
