Nah, never blocked anyone since BEFORE there was an Internet, er make that
one because I couldn't watch the destruction of computers in this group,
besides we agree on most things,, but its a discussion group after all.
As for the government and businesses you really didn't think I wrote [with
research help from several others which I won't mention] those briefings for
my health or to pass time did you... nah I know you don't..
I wouldn't put much hope on the DEM's being able or perhaps even willing to
do what actually needs done... but at least it appears they would NEED to at
least do some of the things they are talking about.... problem being it may
be too late, and WAY to much for Congress to handle.

VISTA]

|
| I don't have to pay for XP, I don't use Vista and probably never will, and
| Microsoft (and most of the rest of the computer industry) have been doing
| little things to make it easier for governments to intrude for a long time
| now, and it doesn't surprise me that the current US administration and
| others around the world have been twisting their arms every which way.
What
| I decided, a LONG LONG time ago, long before I got involved in computers,
is
| to assume that the government knows everything it wants to know about me
or
| can easily find it out. (And if you don't believe that, then you're the
fool
| here.) If you're paranoid of the government (even if that paranoia is
| warranted), WTF are you doing using a computer online?
|
| That stupid hack is no different to me than any of the other hacks. Does
it
| seem that way to you? Frankly, I'm betting that it doesn't work, and/or
| someone figures out how to break it within a week, and/or the backlash
| against Homeland Security abuses when the Dems get into power (Please,
| Please) will kill the project. But whatever they do, they WON'T be causing
| me to lose important documents. Or any sleeep for that matter. Like I said
| before, I don't even trust paperless billing.
|
| > What the heck are you doing, I see a lot of antagonism in your recent
| > posts?
|
| If you'll notice, it took a lot of antagonism to get Atillathehun to
finally
| figure things out. As for this case, I've been on an anti-Hotmail,
anti-MSN
| (and now, anti-Live) rant for years. But it's not just MS, it's ALL of the
| online portals. Again, online document storage is a STUPID idea.
Especially
| FREE online storage, ESPECIALLY Hotmail. Sorry, but there's no easy way to
| say that you were STUPID to handle your documents the way you did. I wish
| you all the best getting them back, but I don't hold out much hope.
|
| Notice that I post a lot of NON-antagonistic threads, too. I'm only
| antagonistic when the situation suggests itself. I'm sorry, but if
| antagonism is something you don't like or can't handle, you should just
| block me.
