Just re-installed Windows XP Profession on a stand alone PC. Every time when
the machine is booted it logs on automatically as Administrator. Another
user, XYZ, was created. When the Administrator logs off, only user XYZ is
seen on the Log on screen. The user, Administrator, is not seen. My queries
are:

1. How to ensure that on booting, the machine does not automatically log
on as the Administrator?
2. How to bring the user, Administrator, back on the log on screen if he
has logged off?

Thanking you in advance.

Why should you be logging on regularly as The Administrator in the first
place?
The built-in Administrator account is NOT designed to be used on a daily
basis.

Hi,

Thanks for your response. I appreciate your concern but the person who
installed has committed a mistake and now hoe do I rectify it? All the other
queries have not been responded to.
