Since morning the one XP node on SBS domain is behaving funny. When I try to
log on as X or Y profile or Administrator (local), one is able to log on and
the wallpaper appears. No other icon is seen. The cursor can be moved and on
pressing Alt+Ctr+Del the Window Security window opens by which the Task
Manager can be seen or the computer can be shut down. Kindly suggest a
remedy.

Thanking you in advance.

Hello,

Start the task manager and look for Explorer.Exe in the processes. End the
task.

Then go to File > New Task > "Explorer" > OK

Thanks for the reply. Explorer.Exe was not present and when a new one is
added, it appears momentarily and disappears. I am back to where I was.
