thoughts on Light virtualization

Shadow Defender and Toolwiz Time Freeze are virtualization software that when turned on virtualize your computer so that all changes and or things that get installed are gone after you restart your computer

you can install and test software that do not require a restart to finish installing then just restart the pc and the software is gone like it never happend

if you are unsure of a email you got turn it on on the fly open the email knowing that if it had a virus you are safe just restart your pc and poof the virus is gone

nothing is 100% safe i'v read where some say that some rootkits can get past these software but there are only a few that can get past this kind of software

Shadow Defender is not free but has a lifetime license and has Track 0 virtualization

Toolwiz Time Freeze is free but i'm unsure if it will protect Track 0 on the hard drive

with these kind of programs if thay are turned on when you get any updates for your computer like for your AV or from Windows updates thay will be gone after a computer restart and will have to be re-installed with the software turned off

I have used similar tools in the past. They some times can be a nuisance. They do work !! I don't test that much software.
I have never been infected with malware. I always have my Macrium on a External HD. If you're
one of those that click on every thing, then these will work good for you. I don't think Root Kits are much of a problem these days! You can always handle them with MBAM Anti Root!

PS Thanks James! Good tools!

to donetao or AWS

i have a spare license for Shadow Defender i won in a contest if you would like to try it just pm me
it is lifetime with free upgrades

this software is very easy to use and very small in size for doing big things lol

and if you do not like the software you can pass it on to someone else no harm no fowl i got 2 more that i use
on my computers lol

Thanks James! I'll let @AWS try it, sense he has never tried this kind a software.
That is a very kind offer my friend!
Thank You!
PS FYI AWS is the owner of the forum, so brown nosing will always help.
:yikes:
