Hi,
why is Microsoft so stupid with the people that make them live? The people
that get you YOUR salary? Maybe you should pay more attention to us.

At the moment I am trying to get a code from Microsoft for an OEM software
and it's been a month of throwing the ball between Microsoft and the people
that sold me this copy. MS is saying "Call the OEM", and the OEM is saying
"what a bunch of idiots those Microsoft, how do they want US to create a code
or send a CD???"

Can anyone take responsibility for their product? I know I wouldn't
associate my family with Microsoft but since you people are already
associated maybe you could do some work and help people that gives you your
salary!

We are asking our programmer to adapt the code of our software to run under
LINUX since Microsoft doesn't care anymore...so when you'll go to the
dentist, they will be on LINUX pretty soon! No more CTRL-ALT-DEL! Or BSOD!!

And this represents 2500 clinics! so around 10000 licenses lost...and it's
only a start...you'll learn not to make fun of THE PEOPLE!!

If I understand correctly, the people that sold you the copy are
responsible.

If you purchased OEM software from a party other than Microsoft, that party
is reponsible for providing the information needed to validate the software,
period.

While you may have saved some money buying this OEM software, how much time
has this validation problem cost you?

Only the vendor from whom you purchased the OEM license can provide you
with the OEM Product Key. Microsoft cannot.

Plus re-writing his application to run under Loonix.

I suspect he wants to pay $25 for an OEM copy and deploy it to 2500
machines. Like he did with Win98. So, if, as he says, 2500 installations and
10,000 people will move from MS, MS loses (mumble, mumble, carry-the-two..)
ah, I've got it:

$25.00.

Hold on a minute! This is a peer-to-peer newsgroup, MS employees do
not hang out here.

I think it's the OEM that are idiots. OEM licenses are administered by
the OEM, not by Microsoft.

What kind of "code" are you looking for? Clarify what you need, we may
be able to help.
