Our business closed down and I have 2 unopened XP Pro OEM CD with manual -
is it legal to sell this? The CD/Manual has never been used or opened,
neither has the serial...obviously.

Why would they not have the serials?

Sometimes, OEM versions are installed from one reference CD, with the
install key simply read off the COA, which is then applied to the system,
but the pack is otherwise unopened.

In that case, you can't sell it without the system it was first installed
on. The license is part of that system, and generally can't be
transferred; this non-transferability is a major difference between OEM and
Retail versions.

Of course you can sell them and whoever bought them would have no
problem activating them if they've never been used. Are they English
versions and how much do you want for them and will you ship to Spain?

You can email me at iamalias@nospamgmail.com (remove nospam).

He wrote that the serials have not been used, not that they don't exist.

Where you in the computer building business? How were these items
acquired? If they were purchased to build a computer but were never used
then you could sell them, BUT if they came WITH a purchased computer
then they are already used and belong to the computer they came with.
