I have my computer set to check for updates everynight. The other day when I
sat down at the computer I had the icon notifing me that an update was ready
to install. I clicked on it to install and it went through the usual process.
It said it was Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.0
Service Pack 3 (KB928367). I figured I was done but after a few minutes the
update icon came back saying that an update was ready to install. I ran it
and it turned out to be the same update again. This has happened several
times. I tried rebooting right after the update was supposedly completed but
when I was up and running again the same thing started again. I lost count of
the times I tried to install. I searched for answers on the Microsoft site,
on the web, in forums, and I'm perplexed. And I have an update supposedly
sitting on my desktop to be installed. Can anyone help me out with this
situation? I'd appreciate it.
