ks.sys shut down

I am receiving the blue screen when trying to open a Canon DV camera. I have tested other devices in the FireWire port, as well as a USB conference camera. These devices work fine. I am sure it is only related to a video/audio driver or a DV driver. Any suggestions please? Windows XP Dellks.sys - Address B4C56CF4 base at B4C52000, Datestamp 48025c12
