Hi, Problems started about 6 months ago. I'll be typing whole lines of text
into Word or Chat and my keyboard misses out whole bunches of letters. First
thought it was keyboard so replaced standard keyboard with usb one(Saitek)but
problems persist. Tried uninstalling drivers in device manager then keyboard
found again in plug n play but that dont help. Hope someone can help? Or
maybe I just got 2 bad keyboards, should I buy another?.

Many thanks

This may sound stupid, but you are NOT speaking of a laptop, are you? s

Does the "missing characters" occurances happen on a "timed basis" (once
a minute for instance) or a speed of typing basis (fast typist and the
tenth or eleventh character goes missing)?

Hi Bob, Thanks - yes there are several seconds of delay sometimes before a
line of text I've typed appears on screen and even then characters are often
missed out. And I am by no means a 'fast' typist lol. Cheers

Did you ever get your keyboard straightened out. I just reinstalled IE7 for
the second time and am ready to uinstall it again if I cant get the keyboard
dropped letter thing straightened out. It is totally frustrating when you
know you hit the right keys but letters are missing. Thought since my first
try with IE7 was a good 6months ago they would have had it correctd by now.
I also lost most of my automatic fill on forms o dont think IE7 is going to
be on my machine much longer.
