Hi.

Is there any way to add a computer to a domain from the domain server itself(adding a new object in Computers) in a way that when that computer will actually try to join the domain it will no longer ask for a user and password? I know the name, IP and MAC of the computer that will join.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

The workstation I need to join to the domain is running a dedicated application (that doesn't allow acces to the actual OS). That application asks for the domain name and then tries to join the domain Anonymously (and it won't promt me to provide a username or password).
What I need to know if there is a way to pre-stage the workstation in the domain server(a windows server 2008 R2) so it will be able to join without authentication. I have full access to the server.
I already tryed to add a new computer object with the workstation name and set "ANONYMOUS LOGON"/"Everyone"/"Guest" as the user/groups that are allowed to join it, but to no effect. It still only allows authenticated users to join the domain.

No way

There is no way that you can bypass without using domain administrator username and password...But you can join your client machine to the domain (offline)if your computer does not have network connectivity or currently cannot contact domain controller. This feature is available with only server 2008 r2 as well as windows7..
