I have Windows XP Home Edition. For a year I play Wizard101 online. Now I can't. Mozilla Firefox works well, but occasionally it comes up with [bad file name] and [unable to connect].
Next the site attempts to troubleshoot. Its links to an on-site program that returns Test OK. The file directs you to run another file.
If you arrive at the second page indicating failure, it says [you have a firewall problem, or a security program setting keeping you from connecting].
I'm running NORTON and the windows firewall (which Norton shuts off to do the work itself), and I'll be ***ed if I can find the setting.
Can anyone help? My ISP says "well wizard10 must be broken". It isn't, I can play it on my wife's laptop using wifi, and I used to play it on this computer.
Thanks for reading this.
