Is There a ScanDisk Log? Where?

When I do scandisks they often take a long time, so go off and do
something else. When I come back the desktop is up and I never know
if it found problems. Thus, the subject questions.

Hi jim,

Open the Event Viewer, click on Application in the left-hand pane, then
locate and double-click on Winlogon in the right-hand pane.

Note there are no scandisk logs because there is no scandisk in XP. It's
chkdsk. Patti gave you the info on where to find the log entry for chkdsk.

Thanks for your reply, but there is no Winlogon it the right pane.
