My resource monitor is indicating that my Physical memory is allocated poorly.
Hardware Reserved 4097Mb
In Use 943 Mb
Modified 1Mb
Standby 63 Mb
Free 16Mb
It is a HP Proliant ML100 G6 server running Windows 7Pro 32 bit. 5GB RAM installed - yes I know it can only utilize 4GB. Bios has not been updated since 2010. I think some RAM is set aside for the integrated Graphics. I tried to install a graphics card on one of the available PCI slots, but it just wouldnt work, so I gave up on that idea.
Is there any way to free up some of that reserved memory, or is this just because the motherboard/bios/OS are possibly not completely compatible?
