Hi,
yesterday i updated the driver of a device, and now its name includes "#2"
at the end.
Is there's a way to delete that #2 from the name? I know it's a silly
question, but i was just.
Thanks
Bye

If it's a network card, there is no way to change it...
but if you show hidden devices in device manager

then delete all instances of the device...
reboot and let Windows reinstall...
you may be able to get rid of the #2

but if your machine is working ok..I'd just leave it

There was no way to get rid of the #2. Windows always reinstalled the device
with same name.
I solved changing the key in registry and rebooting.
