Internet not working, wallaper not changing , see details and solve my problem.

I upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 8 Pro but I am facing following problems :
1) My internet is not working, neither in google chrome, firefox, opera nor in internet explorer
2) I am unable to change my desktop wallpaper.
