internet explorer only loads in safe mode

I have ie8 but today when pc was turned on i couldn't get it to load. I

had a message saying my windows live onecare was not working and

couldn't uninstall it so i uninstalled that thru onecare cleanup and

installed avg free instead using safe mode, internet explorer still only

gets to the tab saying 'connecting' and then freezes and i cant even x

off it. could only do a system restore thru safe mode and can only use

ie thru safe mode, everything else on desktop is working fine, any

ideas?

yes it does load without add ons, but i have no antivirus software and i

letting me download avg free and malwarebytes free but its not

installing them

Then you do the following. Put back each Add On one by one and try and see which Add

On is causing your issue. Once you have the Add On that is causing the issue then

check if it is compatible with your version of Windows and IE8 or contact the Add On

manufacturer
