okay, i have internet explorer 7(i think). Everytime i try to log into an
account it will either not let me log in at all by taking me right back to
the log in screen ,or it will log me in and like 5 minutes later it will log
me back out. it wont 'remember' screen names like for my myspace. it has
suddenly gotten slow. I have broadband but right now the download speed is
207.98kbps which it used to be a MINIMUM of like 4mbps. could you tell me
what to do?? at least with the login things because i can just get the
internet company over for the speed issue. and when you tell me please
simplify because i know some about computers but not alot.
thanks

When all else failes, you can ask IE7 to reset all of its settings. Open a
web page. Near the top-right corner of the browser window you'll see a
button that says "Tools". Click that button, and select "Internet Options".
Click on the "Advanced" tab (near the top-right corner of the options
window). Click on the Reset button (bottom right corner of the window).
Pray to the god of your choice (things can't really get worse, can they?).

Good luck.

1. Does this behavior persist if you start IE7 in No Add-ons mode?

To start IE7 in No Add-ons mode:

Right-click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without Add-ons; or

Start > (All) Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No
add-ons).

3. If you uninstall (a) IE7 (which automatically returns you to IE6), (b)
all toolbars and (c) all third-party Windows Themes (including Window
Blinds) and don't reinstall IE7, does this behavior persist?
