Internet Explorer Fails after Last Night Updates

Has been running well on SP1 for some time

After last night's updates, (3 updates went through shutdown install,
and cpl of restarts) IE, upon most starts, gives error message "IE has
stopped working - a problem caused the program to stop working
.......... Windows will close program & notify you if a solution is
available"

It never notifies, just runs a while and eventually shuts down all IE
windows open.

Any ideas for fixes?

1. Try running IE with no add-ons. Perhaps one of the add-ons you're using
is incompatible with an update.

Run IE7 without add-ons - Start > Run>iexplore.exe -extoff [enter] OR
Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)
MS webpage explaining add-ons: http://tinyurl.com/2tro8f

2. If that doesn't work (or you have no add-ons) uninstall the three updates
and see if the problem is now solved. If it is, then you know one of those
updates causes a problem on your system. You might want to check in the
Windows Update newsgroup with a crosspost to the IE newsgroup to see if
anyone else is having that issue.

You are most welcome. My experience with both XP and Vista is to stay away
from all third-party toolbars. I'm glad the issue was resolved for you and
thank you for taking the time to let me know.
