Hi,

I am currently running IE7 on a Windows 2003 terminal server environment.
Previous to upgrading to IE7, if I clicked a link in a Outlook 2003 email, I
would be taken to the webpage. Now, I receive an error message "This
operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer".
We have a Group Policy which restricts anything from running unless it is
listed under "Run only allowed Windows applications" - iexplore.exe is in
this list.
I can confirm that I don't receive the error when I remove GPO restrictions
from the user account.

Does IE7 run different dll files to IE6 that I would need to register with
the GPO?
Thanks for your reply.

There's a conflict between IE7 and exchange 2003. For instance, if you
open OWA and try to reply to an email you may not be able to enter
text in the body of the reply. There is a hotfix for this problem that
addresses the issue from the exchange side available from microsoft.
It may address this issue as well?
