I upgraded my Dell laptop E1505 from XP to Windows 7. Internet explorer 9 was installed with this upgrade.
Now Windows update is trying to upgrade IE 9 with IE10. I has continued to fail with error code 9C5J. I have reviewd possible
fixes. Tried installing all the additional x86 software required (some indicated they are not for this computer). I have tried to download
IE 10 (saved to the harddrive) and ran as admin. Still the same error. Is there a solution to this problem?
