Internet Connection Problems in Windows 8

I installed the latest drivers for my motherboard, but every time I turn on the system i have to go to " Device Manager" and have to scan for hardware changes to make my internet connection work. "82579LM Gigabit Network Driver" changes to "82579V Gigabit Network Driver" only after i scan for hardware changes.And another thing is that the internet would be connected and the torrents are downloading correctly whereas the browsers don't work. Does the driver has anything to do with it? and how to keep the network driver changed without having to scan every time?
