I have recently purchased a new note book with OS Vista Home Premium. Then
today I hear a sound coming from somewhere. Then I realised it was coming
from the in-built speakers.
Intermittent playback of audio when there are no apparent programs running.
Its not music. It is people talking with music in the background. The
conversation sounds like its not in english.
Are there any suggestions to rid of this behavoir?

Regards myyo

It could be a web page.

I am only a home user. I consider myself a novice when it comes to pc's. What
would I have to do to check if it's a web page? A tech friend of mine
suggested running cc cleaner. I will be doing this later today.

When I say it could be a web page, I mean that I heard some voices that
startled me and it was from a web page that I opened up in a tab in internet
explorer.
If you have no web pages open, for example if Internet Explorer is not
running, then it is not a web page making the sound.
