I updated the Intel chipset driver on my HP Pavilion laptop this morning
(Mobile Express 965 family) to
7.14.10.350 and this has messed up media playback of streaming video.
Particularily if it scaled , if I don't scale the video it is okay...Local
AVI's seem okay. I tried to rollback to a prior restore point but it didn't
work. I got "unspecified error" each time I tried. This worked fine prior to
this update....such a bummer.
I'm in such a habit of just clicking yes to this update thingi that I
should have known better.
Any ideas if there is a registry setting that perhaps needs updating for
this update? I could not find the control panel applet for media player...I
could not find info on this problem on Intel's website. Help.
