Hello,
I was given a machine running Fedora 15, and the version of gfortran on it wasn't compiling properly due to incorrect libraries so I uninstalled it using Add/Remove Applications gui. I want to install the new gfortran version from the tar file I extracted on my desktop, but Add/Remove Applications can't find it. How can I install it from the command line? I don't want to upgrade the OS just yet.
