I have received an old Pressario P2100 from someone who I helped purchase a new Windows 7 PC. The disk has been completely re-formatted and so there is no restore partition ( if there ever even was one).
The case has a Windows CoA and I have a Windows XP CD. I have tried this and it does install properly. My only concern is that it does not install with the licence that is on the CoA. Is this compliant with Microsoft's licensing policy, and will this be affected by the fact that support for XP ceases in April
