I am presently using Windows XP[Licensed Version] with Office 2003 and registered it to Microsoft. Because of the news received from Microsoft, now I am planning to purchase Windows 8.1 and Office 365. How can I identify the version given to me is the genuine Windows 8.1 instead of Windows 8. What is the hardware capacity required for loading the above mentioned softwares? My present computer is purchased in 2006, which is branded. Please advise.
