Immediately propogate registry change to IE without restarting it

Hi experts,

I have a script changing a proxy server directly in the windows
registry which is working alright. Now the problem is that IE does
not
receive the notification about the proxy change and continues to
operate with old settings until i restart it.


How do I propogate registry change to IE without restarting it
specifically regarding the proxies?

Kill the IExplore.exe process first.

I need to keep the existing IE instances, I just need to propogate new
proxy settings from the registry.

Can you load new proxy settings to IE not from registry but from some
other source?
