Im going crazzy trying to reformat audio files to MP3!!!!!!!!!!!!

Music Man1

I tried to download music from online into a zip folder, This wont play on
Window Media Player......I need to reformat it into a MP3 file. If anyone
knows how this can be done please let me know....

What format are these files that you are downloading? You are not trying to
play the zip file are you?

MP3 is a compressed format. Storing them in a .zip file will save only a
few percent of space as compared to storing them in a normal folder. The
CRC checksum of the zip file contents is nice to validate the data, but
DVDSig can quickly produce checksum files that it can also use to validate
the data.

What format are the files in when you download them?
Maybe all you need to do is unzip the files?
