Hi,

I cannot get my IIS component to work. I tried uninstalling and
re-installing (that appeared to work okay) but IIS no longer appears as part
my computer management / services and applications. What have I missed?
Getting frustrated ;-)

Thanks,

Jim

C'mon....

Can't anyone help me with this? Pretty please?

Jim

You may receive an error message and the installation may stop responding
when you try to start the IIS Admin service in IIS :

Hi Jim,
See if this helps:
http://www.iisfaq.com/default.aspx?View=A242&P=123
Installing IIS
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/.../xp/all/proddocs/en-us/iiiisin2.mspx?mfr=true
try to clear your caches, internet Files and delete cookies also run disk
clean up on your drive.
**** Optional ******
Then go here and download it:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...79-c903-4842-9f6c-9db93643fdb7&DisplayLang=en
Make sure when you try the installation your Anti-Virus turned OFF and the
Firewall.
HTH.

Dear Nass,

I'm still trying to peel myself off the ceiling! I downloaded and installed
IIS as you directed and everything is working just fine!

Thank you so very much for that!!!

Best wishes,

Jim
