hi,

I like to know suppose hard drive controller is damaged and I istall through PCI slot hard drive controller card on desktop computer .

Do I have to reinstall windows again or it wil work just fine whitout any exra installation.

this is only theoritical question I don't have at this moment any problem whith controller.
