Original Title: Windows XP in virtual mode
I have Windows 7.1 with Windows XP in a virtual mode so that I can use older products not supported by 7.1. In the XP virtual mode there is an Internet Explorer 8. I understand that after Microsoft eliminates support for XP that can cause future security issues. I run the latest version of IE on my Windows 7.1. If I leave the IE8 on the virtual mode XP but never use it, is there any way I can be hacked through it? Should I remove the IE8 totally from the virtual Windows XP?
