this is one of the zillion reasons to dislike windows.
i've a stone age old pc at home with windows home sp1. wanted to use it to rip a cd since my new laptop does not have a cd drive. old windows media player does only rip it into wmv (no mp3 or wav option). therefore wanted to either upgrade or rip it into itunes.
cannot upgrade. cannot install itunes. cannot install anything, because of sp1. cannot download sp2. stuck.
